Roundtable on Diversity in Silicon Valley | Bloomberg West
Glad this discussion is happening. If only for the fact that aspiring entrepreneurs who don’t look the Valley part can see contemporaries worth modeling theirs paths off. The low numbers of blacks, Hispanics and women at the center of the tech boom will eventually increased. Sooner than later, I’ll hope.
UPDATE… I deleted the video. Why Bloomberg only has auto-play embeds boggles the mind. Anyway, here is the link Enjoy it.
Teach your parents well
Such a great spot for Toyota Venza. In it the daughter is talking about reading (OK, partially reading, lol) an article online about how adults are less social. Cut away to her totally active parents. Meanwhile, she feels sorry for their only 19 friends while she has over 600 and is totally “living.” So true from how we’ve all probably chased our parents online (OK, me) to how we think our socially wired lives are so superior sometimes. Well done, Saatchi & Saatchi agency.
